Frequently asked questions

Which image formats can I convert?

JPG/JPEG and PNG. Other formats such as HEIC, WebP or GIF are rejected with a clear error rather than being converted incorrectly — convert them to JPG first.

What is the difference between the A4 options?

"A4 (fit inside)" places each image wholly within the page margins, keeping it fully visible. "A4 (fill page)" scales the image until it covers the whole sheet and crops whatever sticks out — useful when the border area should disappear.

Why does the orientation option disappear for "Image size" pages?

With the original page size, every page takes the dimensions of its own image, so the orientation always follows the image itself and there is nothing left to choose — the option is hidden in that mode. Switch to either A4 size and it comes back: pin the pages to portrait or landscape, or leave them on auto.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser: the images are read, composed into a PDF in memory and returned as a download. Nothing is transmitted or stored.

How is the page order decided?

Pages follow the order of the file list shown on the page. Add images one by one or in a batch; you can remove and re-add them to fix the order before converting.

About this tool

Sending twenty separate photos to a printer, an HR portal or a government form almost never works — they want one PDF. This converter bundles your JPG and PNG images into a single, tidy document entirely inside your browser, so your photos, receipts and scans never leave your device. You stay in control of the layout: images become pages at their original size, or fit onto A4 pages either completely inside the margins or filling the sheet edge to edge; the page orientation can follow each image automatically or be forced to portrait and landscape, and the margin is adjustable in millimetres. Add as many images as you like and the order you see is the order of the pages. Because the conversion is local, it is equally suitable for holiday snapshots and for sensitive paperwork — ID scans, tenancy photos, warranty receipts — that should not be handed to a random upload site. The output is a clean, standards-compliant PDF with no watermark and no page limit, ready to email, print or archive.
